28th of March to the 3rd of April 2024

Other Activities

As well as our fabulous line-up of shows and workshops for both juggling, flow, acrobatics, and aerial, we also host a number of other activities throughout the week as outlined below. If you would like to bring your wonderful, interesting and/or niche skill to BJC to share with the community then please contact the team via the email at the bottom of the page and we would be happy to try and accommodate.

Axe and Knife Throwing
By the Essex Backyard Throwers

We're happy to announce that the EBT knife and axe throwing club will be once again supporting the event, with five days of workshops for both beginners and experienced throwers. We are expecting to have the same lineup of Instructors as last year so come and say hello!

If you have your own throwing equipment you are welcome to bring it along, but it must be checked by an Instructor before you can use it on the range. Please keep them in a secure case during transit.

Find out more about the EBT club here.

Fire Space
By Bring the Fire Project

Bring the Fire Project will be running the fire space for us this year, so don’t forget to pack your fire props! They will also be organising a Fire Open Stage for us during the event. If you’re interested in performing in this, head over to the Fire Space one evening to speak to Szymon.

Fuel will be provided.
Fire props are not allowed in the building (even unlit!).
Opening times will be decided closer to the event and weather dependent.

Balloon Modelling

Russel will once again be running the Balloon Room where people can come and lean/practice balloon modelling. There will be workshops throughout the week including hats, weaving and dragon poi (pictured).
