Welcome ShowOur In-House Gala Show

BYJOTY
British Young Juggler Of The Year

The British Young Juggler of the Year (BYJOTY) is back for another year! As well as being an amazing show to be a part of, it's an incredible show to watch and see the young up-and-coming circus talent first-hand. Not to be missed!

Are you looking to show off your new act? Kickstart your future juggling career? Get booked for one day conventions? Simply want to have a go at performing? Whatever the circus skill, whether you juggle, hula hoop, unicycle… This is for you!

We are looking for young people to take part in the BYJOTY show. It's an evening where people gather to see the best young circus talent the UK has to offer. Entrants must pre-register for the competition, be under 21, and be British-ish (at least resident in the UK).

Email 2024bjc@gmail.com with your name, age and circus skill(s) to sign up.

Open Stage
Acts Signed-Up From Our Attendees

The Open Stage show is an opportunity for attendees at the BJC to perform. It is an excellent place to trial new routines in front of a friendly crowd. We will be signing up acts during the week of BJC (more details will be announced closer to the time) so if you’ve got a new routine in mind, or an old one you want to dust off and perform again, the Open Stage is the perfect opportunity. If you would like to perform or compère the show, please get in touch at BJCOpenStage@gmail.com

Fight Night returns to BJC! Featuring some of the UK's (and further afield) best jugglers battling it out for the BJC Fight Night Champion title! If you're not familiar with Fight Night, you can get a taste with this video.

This year BJC will be hosting its 10th tournament! We will be having two tournaments: the Open Tournament, which anyone can enter. And the Women’s and Non-binary Tournament, open to those who identify as a woman or non-binary person.

Numbers League Competition

The Numbers League competition is back for the second year in a row at BJC! Last year's edition saw 19 jugglers from 7 different countries go head-to-head for podium positions!

The Numbers League Live is a ball, club and ring numbers juggling competition where competitors challenge themselves to achieve their longest possible run of each number of props before moving on to the next.

The event will consist of a workshop-style qualification round followed by a stage competition for the complete rankings. The qualifications will start at 5 balls, 4 clubs and 5 rings and finalists will be chosen according to turnout and performance.

Catch

Antonia and Keith are joining us this year to perform their work-in-progress show ‘Catch’! If you were at Chocfest, you’ll have seen a sneak peek of this performance which was fantastic and we can’t wait to see the rest of it!

“Catch” is a 45 min juggling show about the joys and struggles to catch objects. A box filled with various sizes, shapes and forms to be thrown, spun, moved and hopefully caught.
