Youth Programme
BJC is a fantastic event for people of all ages. Children and teens at BJC are the future of juggling and circus and we want to make sure the event reflects this by offering plenty for them to be taking part in throughout the week. Our Youth Team, alongside Fiery Jacks, will be ensuring there is a whole host of workshops, activities and entertainment for children and teens to enjoy.

Tickets for under-18s are split into three categories:
- Child (0-5) : free entry
- Youth (6-12)
- Teens (13-17)
Youth Groups & Circus Schools We offer a discount for youth groups and circus schools coming with responsible adults. Email 2024bjc@gmail.com for more information or to book.
Child (0-5)
Child tickets might be free between the ages of 0-5, but this doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten them! We understand how difficult it can be to travel and go on holiday with really little ones and so, to make this easier for you, we will have a Baby & Toddler space for parents to use. Fiery Jacks area will also have a programme of appropriate activities for little kids to enjoy, including craft sessions.
British Young Juggler of the Year (BYJOTY)
BYJOTY is an annual show/competition where people can see the best young circus talent the UK has to offer. Every year, young circus artists (aged 21 or under) showcase their skills and routines on stage and one individual will be voted the ‘British Young Juggler of the Year’. Fiery Jacks Circus
We are excited to announce that BJC2024 will be once again supported by Fiery Jacks Circus, bringing his tents, crew and running a programme of workshops, crafts and more!
The Family Circus Tent
An open circus workshop with everything from hats diabolos and juggling equipment to tightrope, slackrope and trapeze - come with your kids and explore. Free to drop in and use throughout the day as well as scheduled workshops and skill shares aimed at kids/youth - check out the kids section of workshop board!
